Hi Everyone! We are Meg and Chris and we live in beautiful New Hampshire. When we aren’t working our 9-5 jobs, we love exploring New England and traveling to destinations around the world. We have been traveling together since 2015 and have learned a lot of lessons while sharing amazing memories.
After meeting through work, we were surprised to learn that a love of travel was not the only thing we had in common. We also share the same birthday, which prompted us to plan our first trip together. We flew to Phoenix, AZ and ran a full marathon on our birthday. While we probably wouldn’t recommend running a marathon on your birthday, but we do recommend planning adventures that will inspire and challenge you! Since our first trip together, we have traveled to 28 countries and 30 US States.
A few of our favorite trips include a two-month backpacking trip through Southeast Asia (including two-weeks in Japan) in 2017 and a six-month road trip around the United States in 2021. Our most memorable trip was an adventure in Patagonia, where we were engaged at sunrise in front of Mt. Fitz Roy in El Chaltén, Argentina.
Over the years, our travel style has moved beyond extreme budget travel; featuring sleeping on airport floors. We now value a decent accommodation and maximize travel points as much as possible. We also look for opportunities to add outdoor adventures such as camping, kayaking, and hiking into our travel when possible…though we aren’t planning to run another marathon anytime soon.
Throughout our blog you will find detailed weekend itineraries, outdoor adventures, and more. Our goal for this page is to inspire you to not postpone your dreams of seeing the world while pursuing a career outside of travel.

About Meg
A travel enthusiast since her first passport photo was snapped at age 5, Meg’s passion for adventure has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. She loves exploring new destinations, including 45 countries and 39 US states.
Meg has jumped out of a plane in Texas, snacked on crickets in Cambodia, and completed three marathons. Meg is also extremely proud of her self-proclaimed world’s largest OCD travel magnet collection that continues to grow with every new adventure.
About Chris
Chris was raised in a small New Mexican town and sparked a desire to travel during a high school trip to Europe. This lead to a college studying abroad experience in Hannover, Germany and Chris continues to seek opportunities to speak German while traveling.
Chris moved from New Mexico to New Hampshire to New Jersey to New York and back to New Hampshire; making him part of what is likely an elite group of people who have lived in every US state starting with New.
Chris’ first move involved a cross-country road trip in a blue Ford Mustang he named Charlotte. This road trip helped him rack up an impressive count of 40 US states and his international travels have led him to 37 countries.
